In what shouldn't come as a surprise to many, Reggie Bush is unlikely to take the field against the Arizona Cardinals Sunday afternoon.
Reggie Bush injury update: Lions RB unlikely to play, fantasy owners need to wait for Week 12 return
It’s looking like Reggie Bush won’t suit up against the Cardinals Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implication.

#Lions RB Reggie Bush won't be able to play today vs #AzCardinals with an ankle injury, source said. Should be back next week
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 16, 2014 Bush is still dealing with an ankle injury. The Lions have enough support with Joique Bell and Theo Riddick in the backfield, allowing Bush to heal up for Week 12, when the Lions face the New England Patriots.
Fantasy impact: The Cardinals have been stingy with running backs, making Bell a low-end RB2. Riddick will be a decent flex option for PPR leagues. Bell holds more value simply due to volume. Riddick will be used more in the passing game. At this point, fantasy owners are pretty accustomed to not having Bush at their disposal on a weekly basis. Resting Bush may be best, as owners could see Bush take the field with fresh legs closer to the fantasy playoffs.
