For the first time in his last four games, New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram failed to reach 100 rushing yards or double-digit fantasy points Sunday. Ingram did have 97 yards from scrimmage Sunday, but it was still his worst game since Week 7 in the Saints' 27-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

The New Orleans running back neared 100 total yards, but it was still his worst game in the last four. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ingram ran the ball 23 times Sunday for 67 yards and added seven catches for 30 more. The 2.9 yards per carry were Ingram's worst total since taking over the job as the team's top runner almost a month ago. The team's other primary running backs -- Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson -- remain out with injuries, and neither has a defined return date yet.
Fantasy impact: Ingram did manage nine fantasy points, giving him 17 a game in his last four, so it’s not a disaster by any means. But he had worked his way into clear RB1 territory over the last few weeks, and 2.9 yards per carry is not a rate that will justify that status.
As long as Robinson and Thomas remain out, Ingram will remain a fantasy starter -- Travaris Cadet hasn't shown anything that might warrant him taking touches. But his best days of 2014 are likely behind him. This might be a time to sell high if you can get good value back.
