For years, New England Patriots receiver Brandon LaFell was viewed as an inconsistent player and perhaps he still is. However, he has at least four catches in three consecutive games and five of his last six. LaFell is coming off one of his best games of his career, catching 11 balls on 11 targets for 124 yards and one score against the Chicago Bears in Week 8.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Brandon LaFell
Brandon LaFell is suddenly hot. Should fantasy owners use him against the Broncos?

This week, the points should be piling up in Foxboro against the Denver Broncos. While the Broncos are actually a very good defense, the Patriots will have to air it out to match the output of quarterback Peyton Manning. The Broncos are the 12th-toughest matchup for fantasy receivers, but they have allowed four TDs to receivers in their last three games and have been trending down.
Fantasy impact: He’s still a very risky play, but there is so much upside and this game is at home. LaFell will serve as a high-celing WR2, but is not a must-play option.
