Fantasy football projections, Week 9: Ravens-Steelers featuring Steve Smith Sr., Justin Forsett and Ben Roethlisberger
We break down the Week 9 matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Baltimore Ravens
It's too bad wide receiver Steve Smith Senior couldn't do more with the 10 targets he was afforded by his quarterback Joe Flacco last week. That number of looks is the second most he's gotten all season, yet Smith was only able to haul in three of those passes for 35 yards. That said, this season has been one of the best he's had in a few years and it's especially motivating for Smith because he was let go by the Carolina Panthers at the end of last season. He should be up to his old ways against a Steelers defense that is average at best this week.
When the Ravens run the ball Sunday night, it'll be Justin Forsett that gives the team the best shot at moving the chains. Forsett wasn't expected to do much this year in fantasy league's, but with Ray Rice suspended and teammate Bernard Pierce proving ineffective this season, Forsett has managed to carve out some value in deeper leagues. He should be ready to make his regular contributions against the Steelers, even with rookie Lorenzo Taliaferro getting
Pittsburgh Steelers
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger played the game of his life against the Indianapolis Colts last week. It seemingly came out of nowhere because even though the quarterback has a penchant for winning big games, no fantasy owner could have predicted his outburst. He threw for an 522 incredible yards and 6 touchdown passes. Certainly there's no way Roethlisberger to pull off a performance like that two weeks in a row, but he might just be worth taking a flyer on to see if he can post back-to-back solid efforts against the Ravens.
What’s more likely to happen is that the offense will go back to what it usually does, which is run the football through LeVeon Bell. The sophomore rusher isn’t scoring touchdowns at the clip that most fantasy owners were hoping for when they drafted him, but he is an elite pass catcher and manages to rack up total yards even if he does get stuffed on a few carries here and there. Both Bell and his quarterback are worthy starters in deep leagues for this Week 9 contest.
