Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles is active against the Houston Texans Sunday. He suffered a sprained MCL back on Oct. 12. Sproles is expected to get some looks in the passing game against a tough defense.
Darren Sproles is active and is a tough call for fantasy owners
Darren Sproles will play against the Texans Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Sproles started off the season with a bang, but he’s cooled off in his last three active games, catching just two balls for two receiving yards combined. The Eagles have been able to move the ball pretty well without him, but he should still get a chance to turn it around. He went through practice all week and the injury shouldn’t affect his playing time.
The Texans have been giving up a lot of swing passes and have been the 14-best match for fantasy running backs.
Fantasy impact: If you were starting Sproles before today, you can probably start him now. He’s more of a RB2 in PPR leagues while owners in standard leagues might want to keep him on the bench.
