Fantasy football Week 9 projections: Colts-Giants featuring Andrew Luck, Ahmad Bradshaw and Odell Beckham Jr.
We break down the Week 9 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants.

Indianapolis Colts
The Colts were absolutely smoked by the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. It was a result that nobody envisioned, especially considering that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw for more than 500 yards and six touchdowns in the game. However, that did lead to big numbers for Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. Unlike Big Ben, Luck has been putting up fantastic numbers the entire season. Although he did throw two interceptions against the Steelers, those picks came with 400 passing yards and three touchdowns, meaning he still gave his fantasy owners a ton of points. Luck is likely to do the same against the Giants in Week 9. He's been a matchup-proof quarterback this season.
When the Colts do decide to run the ball, Ahmad Bradshaw will be the workhorse who gets the majority of the carries. Bradshaw came into the season splitting time with teammate Trent Richardson, but the latter rusher has been so ineffective that he received zero touches against the Steelers, even though he was marked as active for the game. Bradshaw has shown a great ability to catch passes in the red zone, which means he has a shot at getting his fantasy owners a big chunk of points this week.
New York Giants
These days, the Giants appear to be in for a long second half of the season. The bleed-out look stems from the fact that they were handled easily prior to last week's bye when they fell to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7. However, Eli Manning did play well in that contest and threw for three touchdowns, marking only the second time this season he's been able to do that. Manning is likely to attempt a high volume of passes in order to keep up with the Colts, which could allow him to post an uncharacteristically big fantasy day in Week 9.
By extension, that should mean rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. builds on a strong start to his career against the Colts. Since making his debut, Beckham has 10 catches for 106 yards and three touchdowns catches over three games. While his yardage and reception totals don't exactly jump out at fantasy owners just yet, it's clear that he has a lot of potential. With Victor Cruz (torn patellar tendon) done for the year, there's a lot of fantasy value to be had there now that the second half of the season is about to get underway.
