The Dallas Cowboys were hoping to give the Arizona Cardinals their second loss of the season when the two teams met in Week 9. Despite the Cowboys scoring the game's first 10 points, the Cardinals put up 28 unanswered points, eventually winning 28-17.
Carson Palmer tosses 3 scores, Andre Ellington shines again for fantasy owners in Cardinals’ win
Carson Palmer threw three touchdowns to three different players on Sunday, and Andre Ellington was the clear-cut star for fantasy owners yet again.

It wasn't going to be easy for Dallas without quarterback Tony Romo, who was suffering a setback from a back injury the week prior. It turned out to be a complete mess for the Cowboys with Brandon Weeden under center, and the Arizona defense was able to focus on stopping DeMarco Murray, who gained a season-low 79 yards. But it wasn't solely a defensive win, as the Cardinals also got several solid performances on offense en route to their seventh win of the season.
We’re here to break down those individual fantasy performers:
Carson Palmer: Palmer completed 22 of 34 passes for 249 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. His interception was a pick-six early in the first quarter, but Palmer bounced back as the game progressed. He may have seen bigger numbers if not for a handful of blatant drops from his receivers. Palmer will remain one of the best QB1 plug-and-play options moving forward.
Andre Ellington: Ellington finished Sunday's game with 95 yards rushing on 21 carries. He also caught all four of his targets for 39 yards and a touchdown. Arizona's lone rushing touchdown was vultured by Marion Grice for a 1-yard score. It was yet another great week for Ellington, who now has over 100 all-purpose yards in four games this season. He'll be an RB1 against the St. Louis Rams in Week 10.
Larry Fitzgerald: Fitzgerald caught five of his six targets for 70 yards and no score. He was the leading receiver for the Cardinals Sunday. Fitzgerald came back down to earth a bit after his seven-catch, 160-yard performance against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8, which shouldn't have been a huge surprise for fantasy owners. His touchdown numbers are fairly low, but he hasn't surpassed 10 touchdowns in a season since 2009. Always dependable for a handful of receptions and a decent chunk of yardage, Fitzgerald is a solid WR3 moving forward.
Michael Floyd: Floyd caught four of his five targets for 36 yards. It was another disappointing week for Floyd, who has been mostly touchdown dependent since coming back from the Cardinals' bye. He's proving to be a gamble each week, with nothing more than WR3 value at this point in the season.
John Brown: Brown is worth mentioning because he came into Week 9 looking to follow up on his five-catch, 119-yard game in Week 8. However, he finished with just two catches for 10 yards against the Cowboys. If you grabbed Brown from your waiver wire heading into Sunday's game, he's expendable if other options present themselves.
