Remember when the Miami Dolphins were 1-2 and were debating a change at quarterback? Now they're 5-3, on a three-game winning streak, and their quarterback had one of the biggest games of Week 9 as Miami crushed the San Diego Chargers, 37-0.
Lamar Miller, Charles Clay among 4 Dolphins to score for fantasy in big win
Miami’s third win in a row was the team’s most convincing one of the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Dolphins beat the Chargers in every aspect Sunday, with 441 yards to San Diego’s 178, and no turnovers against San Diego’s four. The Dolphins led 20-0 at halftime, and never even let the Chargers into the red zone.
In a big team game, let’s look at the fantasy performances:
Ryan Tannehill: Tannehill had his third fantasy game of 20-plus points in his last five, with a 27-point fantasy day that was his biggest all season. Tannehill completed 24 of 34 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns. He added 47 rushing yards on four carries. After 37 fantasy points combined through three weeks and questions of a benching, Tannehill has played himself all the way into strong QB2 consideration.
Lamar Miller: The running back didn't accumulate many yards Sunday, with 49 on 11 carries, but he did find the end zone, one of four Dolphins to score a touchdown. With 10 fantasy points, Miller has at least nine in seven of eight games this season, averaging 11 a game over the season. He's a high-end RB2, and maybe a RB1 some weeks.
Mike Wallace: Barely fantasy-relevant Jarvis Landry and Rishard Matthews were the Miami wide receivers who got the touchdowns Sunday, keeping Wallace from big numbers. The star receiver caught only three passes (on eight targets) for 50 yards. It was Wallace's second straight five-point fantasy day after putting up 8-12 in every game through Week 7. He's a mid-range WR2.
Charles Clay: The tight end has started producing again, at least a little. After no more than three fantasy points in any game through Week 6, Clay has an 11-point and a 12-point game in his last three. He caught five passes Sunday for 65 yards and his second touchdown of the season. Of course, Clay had a zero-point game in between those two. He's back in the tight end conversation, but he's still a mid-range TE2 at best.
