Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin was held out of practice Wednesday. Baldwin is dealing with a groin injury he suffered in Sunday's Week 9 win over the Oakland Raiders.
Doug Baldwin misses practice Wednesday, fantasy status on hold
Doug Baldwin has a groin injury and did not practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Head coach Pete Caroll initially downplayed Baldwin's injury, but the missed practice means he should be considered a question mark for the Week 10 game against the New York Giants. Baldwin has taken over as the Seahawks' No. 1 receiver after Percy Harvin was dealt to the New York Jets. He's gotten 18 catches for 222 yards and a touchdown in the past three games, and has a 34-409-1 line through eight games.
Fantasy impact: Carroll doesn't typically tip his hand on injury news unless it's serious enough that the player has to be instantly ruled out. That means we may not know more about Baldwin's status until Friday's final injury report, although Thursday's practice should be instructive. Baldwin is only a WR3/4 in fantasy if he's active, but the Seahawks' receiver group would be severely thin if he's forced to sit out. Jermaine Kearse, Paul Richardson and Kevin Norwood are not fantasy options right now.
