Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron returned to practice on Thursday, getting in a limited session. Ebron is now on track to make his return against the Miami Dolphins.
Eric Ebron returns to practice, fantasy value remains low
The rookie tight end was back at practice on Thursday after getting the bye week to rest his hamstring. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ebron missed two games with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 6. The rookie first-rounder is closer to healthy after the Lions had their Week 9 bye. One of the top tight end prospects in the 2014 NFL Draft, Ebron has had a quiet season as he adjusts to the NFL. Through six games, he has just 10 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy impact: The Lions are expected to get Brandon Pettigrew and Joseph Fauria back as well, so Ebron will have even fewer opportunities to get targets. Tight ends typically struggle in their rookie seasons, and Ebron has been no different despite his impressive pedigree at the University of North Carolina. He's a strong hold in dynasty leagues, but offers no re-draft fantasy value outside the most desperate 16-team leagues.
