We break down the Week 10 matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions.

Miami Dolphins
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been a mediocre, hit or miss fantasy option ever since stepping into his starting job with the Dolphins as a rookie, but this year he's seen his stock go up. His numbers last week against the San Diego Chargers are part of the reason the fantasy community is starting to take notice. Tannehill threw for 288 yards against the Chargers, completing 24 of 34 pass attempts for three touchdown passes with no turnovers to speak of. While that is a stat line fantasy owners should be excited about, a tough matchup against one of the league's better fantasy defenses will put Tannehill's progress under the microscope in Week 10.
When he is playing well on Sunday, it likely means wide receiver Mike Wallace will be the beneficiary. Wallace publicly expressed his frustrations with the team's offense just two weeks ago and in the two games since has a combined five catches for 109 yards and no touchdowns. He'll need to be better against tough coverage in Detroit, but the cream always rises to the top, so he could get back to his scoring ways at Ford Field this week.
Detroit Lions
There's plenty of reason for fantasy owners to rejoice as the Lions will witness the return of wide receiver Calvin Johnson (ankle) to the lineup against the Dolphins. Since suffering his injury way back in Week 4, Johnson has appeared in two games, totaling a measly three catches for 19 yards. He probably should have stayed on the sidelines sooner as it was clear he was just a decoy in those two games, but looking forward, the main point is that he's back at full strength. Megatron will be up against a solid Dolphins defense on Sunday, but Johnson will be counted on to make a big impact in his return the same way any other star player would.
His return to full strength hopefully means better numbers for quarterback Matthew Stafford, who's had a subpar fantasy season in comparison to his usually high yardage and touchdown totals. Stafford has eclipsed 300 yards passing just twice this season through eight games. The good news is, the second one came in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons before the team went on its bye week. There's no doubt Stafford will have a tough time repeating that feat against the Dolphins, but if he can, both he, Johnson, and the Lions could be a force to be reckoned with in Week 10.
