Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray, Denard Robinson lead fantasy projections for Cowboys-Jaguars

We break down the Week 10 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The Week 10 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Jacksonville Jaguars features two teams that should be heavily reliant on the running game in order to move the football. We've got the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

Dallas Cowboys

With Tony Romo (back) likely to be under center Sunday in London, the Cowboys should definitely take home a victory. The question for his fantasy owners will be how much the injury slows down his production. It would be wrong to think they'll go out onto the field and put together a 300-yard, 3 touchdown performance in the game and he'll likely take on more of a game manager kind of role against the Jaguars, even against a team that is one of the worst in the league this season.

Romo's need to take things easy in Week 10 likely means a lot of carries for running back DeMarco Murray. Murray was held under the 100-yard rushing mark for the first time this season against the Arizona Cardinals defense. While the Cardinals deserve full marks for their efforts, it certainly didn't help that Brandon Weeden was hugely ineffective in the game, which allowed Arizona to zone in on Murray. Fantasy owners need not worry however, as Murray should be up to his old tricks against Jacksonville in Week 10.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Running back Denard Robinson had 94 yards rushing and a touchdown last week and has cemented himself as the most reliable offensive weapon on the Jaguars and should hold that title for the rest of the season. He has either 100 yards or a touchdown in each of the last three weeks. Robinson will go up against a good Cowboys defense, but the fact he'll get lots of touches in the game means the production will likely be there at the end of the day.

When the Jaguars are forced to go to the air, it'll be rookie Blake Bortles trying to shoot for open receivers. He has a lot to learn to join the elite members of the fantasy world, but he did put together a decent showing against the Cincinnati Bengals last week. Bortles threw for 247 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the game. He'll have to be better against the Cowboys if the Jags are going to put up their first win of the season, but even if the team doesn't win, Bortles could post a surprisingly high yardage total in Week 10.
