Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett expects to play Sunday night vs. the Green Bay Packers, despite being added to the injury report during practice.
Martellus Bennett injury update: TE will probably play for Bears, fantasy owners
The Bears held Martellus Bennett out of practice on Friday and have their tight end listed as questionable on the injury report. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bennett sustained a rib injury Thursday and was subsequently held out of action Friday. Afterward, he told beat reporter Brad Biggs he would probably play.
Fantasy Spin: “Probably” doesn’t mean “definitely,” and since mid-week injuries make player’s availability tough to project, fantasy owners need to have a contingency plan in place for Bennett. That won’t be an easy thing to do since the Packers and Bears square off Sunday night and most of the options will have already played.
Play Fanduel, Win big money
It would be a gutsy move for owners to leave Bennett in the lineup, but it’s a move that could be worth making versus a team that surrendered nine catches and 134 yards to him in Week 4. A team at 3-5 will need all hands on deck to salvage their season, and facing a division foe gives extra incentive for Bennett to suit up. He would be squarely in the TE1 conversation if he does.
