As expected, Doug Martin will not play in Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons while he deals with an ankle injury. Bobby Rainey will resume starting duties for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the meantime, though his job is far from secure. Rookie running back Charles Sims will make his NFL debut on Sunday. Both running backs will face one of the league's worst run defenses, and if Sims proves to be a spark for the Buccaneers backfield, his upside could warrant a starting job moving forward.

Fantasy impact: Rainey owners can consider him an RB2 with the match up he’s walking into this week. However, don’t be surprised if coaches are quick to feed the hot hand. Rainey has fumbled three times in 2014. It won’t take much for Sims to see more action if he’s proving his talent on the field. With that said, this could be the last week that Sims is available on your waiver wire. Grab him before kickoff if you have the space for him.
