An unexpected name topped the box score for the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13. Donte Moncrief led Colts receivers with three catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns. He was targeted just four times but made the most of it. Moncrief scored for two touchdowns passes of 48 and 79 yards.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 14: Donte Moncrief is a risky option despite big week
Donte Moncrief led all Indianapolis receivers in Week 13. We take a look at his fantasy value moving forward.

While his production is likely a fluke, it's worth mentioning that Moncrief may have earned a more consistent role as the team's WR3 moving forward, possibly eating into Hakeem Nicks' workload.
Fantasy impact: We're in Week 14 of the regular season, so the logic shouldn't come as a big surprise: Colts players other than T.Y. Hilton and Andrew Luck are bound to have big performances from time to time. While it's possible that Luck is developing some sustainable chemistry with Moncrief, the Colts have some tough defensive matchups moving forward and Moncrief is nothing more than a desperation play.
He may be worth a look in deeper leagues, but it would be nice to see some consistency before plugging him into your lineup during the fantasy playoffs. He’s a WR4 in the meantime.
