Arizona Cardinals' running back Andre Ellington suffered a hip pointer in Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons, but he could be back "this week or next week," according to Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports. Ellington sustained the injury while picking up a blitz in Sunday's game and had to leave the game.
Andre Ellington could be back ‘this week or next,’ low fantasy value
Andre Ellington could miss some time with his hip pointer. We break down the fantasy implications.

Unfortunately, “next week” implies he could miss Arizona’s Week 14 game. Ellington hasn’t exactly been outstanding thus far this season, but there’s a ton of potential for a big play every time he touches the ball. He has 201 carries for 660 yards and three touchdowns, and 46 receptions for 395 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners who have been waiting for Ellington to break out should take this as an opportunity to give up on him, at least for this season. He has some definite value going forward into his career -- the Cardinals are not done with him yet -- but his days as a productive fantasy option this season are essentially over.
