The New York Jets played a close game against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football and Rex Ryan employed an interesting game plan. Geno Smith threw the ball only 13 times while the Jets ran the ball 49 times. Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory formed the new dynamic duo, combining for 167 rushing yards in the game. It was Johnson's first 100+ yard rushing effort as a member of the Jets.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 14: Chris Johnson, Chris Ivory are dynamic duo on ‘MNF’
Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory combined for 167 rushing yards in the Week 13 loss to the Miami Dolphins on “Monday Night Football”. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

The majority of the rushing success came in the first half as the Jets jumped out to a 10-0 lead. The Jets had an astounding 210 rushing yards alone. Bilal Powell was the only running back to get a target in the passing game and he was targeted three times finishing with two catches for 19 yards.
The Dolphins won the game on a late field goal by Caleb Sturgis, capping the score at 16-13. Geno Smith completed seven passes for 65 yards. He also threw a game-ending interception on a pass intended for tight end Jeff Cumberland.
Fantasy impact: Johnson has only found the end zone once this year and has been fairly mediocre but he did well against a Dolphins' run defense giving up the 11th-most fantasy points to running backs. The splits were fairly even with Johnson averaging 6.2 yards per carry and Ivory averaging 3.9 yards per carry. The matchups are pretty favorable heading into fantasy playoff season, as the Jets face the league's worst run defense in Week 15 when they play the Tennessee Titans.
