Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer will be the team's starter for Week 14, according to a report from Jay Glazer. Hoyer was benched in favor of rookie Johnny Manziel in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game to the Buffalo Bills in Week 13. Manziel provided a spark, leading the team to a touchdown on his first drive and inciting a quarterback controversy in Cleveland in the process.
Brian Hoyer to start in Week 14; has middling fantasy value
Brian Hoyer will start in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hoyer has struggled off and on this season, completing just 56.2 percent of his passes for 3,056 yards with 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. But he’s led Cleveland to seven wins and has them in the thick of the playoff hunt. With that said, three of Hoyer’s interceptions came against the Bills, which is why he was benched in favor of Manziel.
Fantasy Impact: Hoyer hasn't been an incredibly effective fantasy football quarterback this season, but there are worse options out there. The general opinion seems to be that Manziel would offer more fantasy potential but also more risk when it comes to potential turnovers. Whatever the case, Hoyer is the guy for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
