Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams (hand) missed practicing on Wednesday, according to Joe Pearson of The Charlotte Observer. Williams managed 21 yards on just seven carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13.
DeAngelo Williams day-to-day; fantasy status up in the air
The Panthers running back has a broken bone in his hand. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Head coach Ron Rivera is calling Williams day-to-day, but given that he's not making a huge impact anyway, it wouldn't be a total surprise to see Williams miss the team's Week 14 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
He doesn’t have a rushing touchdown this season and has failed to gain more than 41 yards rushing since notching 72 way back in Week 1.
The Panthers’ season has been marred by poor play at quarterback and a porous defense. If it wasn’t for the fact that the NFC South is so bad, the team would have been out of the playoff race weeks ago.
Fantasy owners shouldn't hold their breath on using Williams, even if he does play on Sunday. Either way, teammate Jonathan Stewart is a better bet to produce.
