Ellington is dealing with a hip pointer that Head Coach Bruce Arians called "severe" earlier in the week. The injury forced him out of practice and now the Cardinals will be without him in a tough game against the Chiefs.

This will be the first missed game of the year for Ellington, who came into the year with plenty of concerns about his ability to withstand the rigors of a full season. But his durability has been solid thus far, despite a nagging foot injury bothering him for much of the season. He’s carried the ball 201 times for 660 yards with three touchdowns, and added another 46 receptions for 395 yards and two touchdowns in the air.
Fantasy Impact: Quarterback Drew Stanton will have to rely on the guys behind Ellington: Marion Grice, Stepfan Taylor, Michael Bush and Robert Hughes. Those guys are the ones behind Ellington, with Taylor being second on the team in rushing yardage. Still, he only has 83 yards on the season so there's not a whole lot behind Ellington to carry the load.
