Colin Kaepernick has been a disaster all season. Does a good matchup this week make him a solid fantasy play?

Amazingly, he’s scored just five total touchdowns since Oct. 13 and the 49ers just haven’t been able to get their offense going. While he might be the most talented quarterback from a physical standpoint and he might be the best once he gets past the line of scrimmage, he hasn’t been a top-10 fantasy quarterback in any week since his bye in Week 8. In fact, he’s just QB17 on the year.
All that aside, he gets a good matchup against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. The Raiders have been roasted in the past month, allowing an average of 24.9 fantasy points per game in their last four games. Heck, St. Louis Rams quarterback Shaun Hill lit them up last week.
Fantasy impact: Kaep is just too cold to start. With your playoffs possibly on the line, it’s best to go with someone else.
