Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was on the brink of being an elite fantasy guy with his 5,000-yard, 41-touchdown 2011, but there has been a downward trend since. He only has 15 TDs on the year and he's not going to be anywhere close to 5,000 yards, passing for just 3,333 yards on the season.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Matthew Stafford
Matthew Stafford has not put up big numbers this season. Should his fantasy owners trust him this week?

He is coming off one of his best games of the season, completing 34 of his 45 passes for 390 yards and two scores in a win against the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving. Stafford will look to keep it going against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
The Bucs are suddenly improving in their pass defense and haven’t allowed more than one passing TD or 250 passing yards in any of their last four games. There is a chance that Stafford has a big first half, but the Lions probably aren’t going to need to pass the ball much against a inept offensive team.
Fantasy impact: Stafford is more of a high-end QB2 this week.
