Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.
DeSean Jackson injury update: Washington WR is inactive, fantasy owners turn to other options
Jackson is Inactive for Sunday’s game against the Rams. We break down the fantasy implications.

DeSean Jackson officially INACTIVE
— Andrew Siciliano (@AndrewSiciliano) December 7, 2014 Jackson is dealing with a leg injury and hadn’t practiced at all this past week. With Jackson not playing, that leaves Pierre Garcon and Andre Roberts to carry more of a workload. Still, there isn’t a receiver on Washington’s roster than can attack opponents downfield as well as Jackson.
Fantasy Impact: As poorly as Garcon has played recently, he’s back into the WR3 discussion with Jackson out. Andre Roberts is a risky WR4 play that should see a handful of targets. Tight end Jordan Reed may come away with more production. The Rams will likely stack the box more and try to eliminate short and intermediate passes with Jackson out, but Reed should see plenty of targets, making him a strong TE1 option for the day.
