Carolina Panthers receiver Kelvin Benjamin has been the No. 14 receiver in PPR leagues, but he did have a mildly disappointing game against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13 coming off a bye. He will get a matchup against the New Orleans Saints this week for the second time this season.

Kelvin Benjamin has disappeared a little with Cam Newton struggling. Should fantasy owners expect him to turn it on?

Benjamin had by far his worst game of the season against the Saints back in Week 9, with two catches for 18 yards. The Saints put bracket coverage on him while quarterback Cam Newton couldn't get the ball down the field in that loss. As mentioned, Benjamin did have an underwhelming game last week (5/56/0), but he had two tremendous performances sandwiched between the two duds in Weeks 9 and 13 -- in the two good outings, he combined for 12 catches, 179 yards, and three scores.
Plus, the Saints are actually the third-easiest matchup for fantasy receivers. The Pittsburgh Steelers had a huge game on the outside last week while teams have scored a TD with a receiver in all but two weeks of the season -- but the Panthers were one of those two.
Fantasy impact: Benjamin should bounce back as a high-end WR2 in what could be a high-scoring game.
