Washington running back Alfred Morris has had a season of runs. He was fairly productive early in the year, bottomed out in the middle, rose back up for a few weeks, and has fallen back on hard times of late. Sunday was his worst game of the season, though, as Morris managed only a single fantasy point in Washington's 24-0 loss to the St. Louis Rams.

Eight carries, six yards. It was an awful game for the Washington back. We break down the fantasy implications.

Morris was held to only six rushing yards on eight carries Sunday. He also caught one pass for 11 yards, giving him one fantasy point, his worst since two points in Week 5. Backup running back Roy Helu Jr. had no touches in the game, leaving early with a toe injury, while No. 3 Silas Redd had a single carry for eight yards. Washington's leading rusher on the game was quarterback Colt McCoy, who ran the ball twice for 11 yards.
Fantasy impact: For much of the season, Morris has been a low-end RB1 or a high-end RB2. The Washington offense, though, has fallen on such hard times that it simply can’t run the ball often enough for Morris to accumulate, and Morris hasn’t been doing enough with the touches he has been getting.
For the rest of the fantasy season, it will be hard to trust Morris. He can’t be dropped by any means, but he’s at best a low-end RB2, and maybe not even that.
