The Minnesota Vikings have been looking more and more toward wide receiver Charles Johnson in recent weeks. That continued Sunday, and Johnson and fellow wide receiver Jarius Wright combined to help lead the team to a 30-24 overtime win over the New York Jets.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 15: Jarius Wright, Charles Johnson both have big days
Both receivers scored deep touchdowns Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson caught four passes Sunday for 103 yards and a touchdown. Wright also caught four passes, totaling 123 yards and a score receiving, plus he gained 23 yards on a single rushing attempt. Wright's score came on an 87-yard completion in overtime that won the game. Johnson has been the team's dominant receiver in recent weeks -- he's averaged 10.3 fantasy points in a game in his last four, compared to 8 for Greg Jennings, 6 for Wright (with almost all of that coming Sunday), and 0.8 for Cordarrelle Patterson.
Fantasy impact: Wright’s overtime touchdown was just a screen pass that worked out well, and looks less repeatable than Johnson’s production. On top of that, Johnson’s numbers of late have been much more consistent -- his fantasy numbers the last four games are 8-13-4-16, compared to 0-0-4-24 for Wright.
Ultimately, it’s hard to trust any pass-catcher in Minnesota -- remember all the love for Patterson early in the season? -- but the one to invest in, if there is one, is clearly Johnson, who looks like he could be a low-end WR3 going forward.
