Fantasy football projections, Week 2: Cardinals vs Giants featuring Andre Ellington, Michael Floyd, Larry Fitzgerald and Victor Cruz
We break down the Week 2 matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants.

Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals managed to slip past the San Diego Chargers last week, partially thanks to quarterback Carson Palmer's throwback performance. He went 24-of-37 for 304 yards and two touchdowns and even managed to chip in another 29 yards on the ground. No one should be expecting a Kurt Warner-type revival out of Palmer, but he's put himself on the map as a serviceable QB2. Running back Andre Ellington appears set to make his second start, playing through a foot injury. He rushed 13 times for 53 yards and caught five passes for 27 yards. Although he did lose a fumble, he's good to go as an low-end RB1.
Michael Floyd is now running as the team's true No. 1 receiver. He proved why last week, showcasing his play-making ability while catching five passes for 119 yards. He offers legitimate WR2 upside. Larry Fitzgerald is still very much in the mix. Although he only caught one ball for 22 yards last week, owners should continue to play him as a lower-end WR2. Neither of Arizona's tight ends are fantasy relevant for the time being.
New York Giants
Just as we expected, the Giants are experiencing the growing pains of transitioning to a new offense and coordinator. Quarterback Eli Manning looked like the last veteran quarterback you'd ever want on your fantasy team. After leading the league in interceptions last year with 27, Manning tossed another two in Week 1 and has no business being in starting lineups. Running back Rashad Jennings did manage to find the end zone but was under 3 yards per carry on 16 rushing attempts. Running behind New York's patchwork offensive line, there isn't much reason to expect much more out of him or rookie Andre Williams.
Of Manning's 18 completions, only four of them found their way into the hands of their starting wide receivers Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle. Owners have every reason to expect a bounce-back game out of the proven Cruz. The same can not be said for Randle, who is still struggling to develop chemistry with Manning. Randle's upside is dependent on him and Manning getting on the same page. Tight end Larry Donnell ended up leading the team with five receptions for 56 yards and one score. He could emerge as a serviceable TE2 but he's not a guy that owners need to rush to pick up off the waiver wire.
