Fantasy football projections, Week 2: Jaguars-Washington featuring Toby Gerhart, Robert Griffin III, DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon
We break down the Week 2 matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 1 proved to be a new chapter of the same story for the Jacksonville Jaguars. After putting up a sizable early lead against the Philadelphia Eagles, they watched it slip away. Quarterback Chad Henne had a solid outing but still can't be trusted as anything more than a bottom-of-the-barrel QB2. Running back Toby Gerhart's debut as Jacksonville's feature back could have gone better as he finished with only 42 yards on 18 carries and hurt his ankle. He's probable for Week 2 and presents a solid low-end RB2/flex play.
Wide receiver Cecil Shorts missed Week 1, which opened up the door for undrafted rookie free agent Allen Hurns who capitalized with a 4/110/2 line. He was by far the biggest surprise of Week 1 and is definitely worth a hold, though owners shouldn't expect anything more than flex production. Second-round receiver Marqise Lee also had a solid rookie debut, dropping a 6/62 line. Both receivers are worth a look as long as Shorts (doubtful) is out.
Washington
Week 1 proved that Washington is a work in progress on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Robert Griffin III managed to complete 78 percent of his passes for 267 yards, but couldn't manage to find the end zone via air or ground. Griffin has the weapons to improve upon these numbers but he'll need to show continue development to have any chance at QB1 value. Running back Alfred Morris turned in another quietly solid performance with 91 yards on 14 carries. He remains a steady RB1.
Pierre Garcon led Washington's receiving corps with a 10/77 line. Picking up right where he left off last year, he's an excellent bet to lead the NFL in receptions again, and offers high-end WR2 value in PPR leagues. DeSean Jackson also had a solid debut with his new team catching eight passes for 62 yards. He's got plenty of room to improve upon those numbers. Tight end Jordan Reed suffered another injury that will likely keep him sidelined. Reed is a good athlete but will need to show that he can stay healthy to become an asset for fantasy owners. Reed's back up Logan Paulsen will draw the start in his absence but owners can find better streaming options on the waiver wire.
