Randall Cobb caught five passes for 39 yards and two touchdowns in Week 2 against the New York Jets. Cobb was targeted six times this game, finishing third among all Green Bay Packers receivers.
Randall Cobb scores twice for fantasy owners in Week 2
Although he wasn’t the Packers’ top receiver for the week, Cobb managed to make the most of his targets in Week 2, especially in the red zone.

Cobb now has three touchdowns in his first two games of 2014. Jordy Nelson continues to lead the way in targets and receiving yards, but Cobb is becoming a reliable weapon near the goal line.
Fantasy impact: Cobb finished 2012 with eight touchdowns. He was up to four in 2013 before breaking his leg. His scoring prowess does not appear to be a fluke. Aaron Rodgers is consistently looking for him when the Packers are in the red zone.
Some fantasy analysts thought Cobb's ADP was too rich to buy in on leading up the season. While he isn't putting up big yardage numbers, the touchdowns will continue to boost his stock. Look for Cobb and the Packers' passing game to keep things rolling next week against the Detroit Lions.
