Eric Decker caught four passes for 68 yards and one touchdown in his second game with the New York Jets. The promising start to Week 2 was cut short by a hamstring injury, as Decker was forced to miss part of the third quarter and all of the fourth.

After scoring his first touchdown with his new team, Decker was forced to watch most of the second half from the sideline.


The Jets offense didn’t move downfield as well after Decker left the game. No update has been given about his status at the moment.
Fantasy impact: The Jets offense was clearly less explosive with Decker on the sideline. Not only is he the best receiving target for Geno Smith, Decker helps take some of the pressure of the other Jets wide receivers.
Decker started holding his hamstring on the sideline before playing a few more snaps in Week 2. He ultimately made a permanent exit. Owners will hope the injury isn’t anything too severe. Decker will continue to see a fair amount of catches as long as he’s healthy.
