Colin Kaepernick completed 21-of-34 passes for 248 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions Sunday night against the Chicago Bears. He also lost a fumble and was sacked four times in his first game at the San Francisco 49ers new stadium.
Colin Kaepernick disappoints fantasy owners in Week 2
Turnovers plagued Kaepernick’s second game of the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kaepernick finished with 66 rushing yards on nine carries. The 49ers were cruising with a 20-7 lead to start the fourth quarter, but the Bears offense managed to put together a huge comeback to finish the night.
Fantasy impact: His only touchdown of the night came early in the first quarter, as Michael Crabtree was wide open on a pick play in the end zone. Kaepernick nearly finished with four interceptions, but one was overturned. It was a rough night for the young quarterback.
The rushing yards are always a plus, but if your league scoring settings include negating points for turnovers, those six points were wiped away. Kaepernick faces a relatively tough defense when he takes on the Arizona Cardinals next week. He scored six more fantasy points than his season average in two games against Arizona last season.
