The veteran running back commanded most of the 49ers carries on Sunday night. We break down the fantasy implications.


Backup running back Carlos Hyde saw four carries but failed to gain any yardage on his touches. Gore remains in control of the backfield for the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy impact: We’ve seen this stat line plenty of times from Gore. While he didn’t dominate in yardage, the his 8-yard touchdown run in the first quarter leaves fantasy owners content.
Some owners worried prior to the season about Hyde’s presence and a potential changing of the guard on the depth chart. That is not happening any time soon. Hyde is a promising running back who will continue to see a small share of touches, but Gore isn’t going anywhere at the moment. Continue to start his as your RB2 each week.
