Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery were listed as questionable heading into Sunday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, but both wide receivers managed to play in Week 2. Marshall caught five passes for 48 yards and three touchdowns, while Jeffery hauled in three catches for 47 yards.
Brandon Marshall outscores Alshon Jeffery in fantasy for Week 2
Marshall and Jeffery were injured coming into Sunday night’s game, but they both managed to play. We break down the fantasy implications.

Marshall looked like he was in better condition than his counterpart, seeing eight targets and making a few highlight reel catches. Jeffery was targeted six times, finishing behind Marshall, Matt Forte and Martellus Bennett.
Fantasy impact: Some owners likely sat the two receivers just as a precaution due to the news of Marshall and Jeffery potentially sitting out Sunday night. Marshall didn’t look too limited as he single-handedly kept the Bears in contention at times in the fourth quarter.
The Bears don’t play until Monday night in Week 3, so Marshall and Jeffery have an extra day to prepare for their matchup against the New York Jets. We would expect them to both start barring any setbacks.
