Randall Cobb scores for fantasy owners in season debut
After missing a significant portion of 2013, Randall Cobb started off 2014 with six receptions and a touchdown.

Cobb picked up his pace in the second half as he gained most of his yardage on his last three receptions. His touchdown reception came from three yards out in the fourth quarter, when he found an open spot in the defense.

Fantasy impact: While statistics show that taller receivers have a better nose for touchdowns and scoring in the red zone, Cobb continues to show his value in these areas. Last season, he caught four touchdowns in just six games. In 2012, he finished the year with eight touchdowns.
The news around Cobb this preseason was almost entirely negative, so this outing was a positive sign for any owners in doubt. Cobb should be in your starting lineup every week now that he’s back to full strength.
