The offseason for Marshawn Lynch consisted of a holdout and speculation that the veteran running back would start losing snaps to the Seahawks backups. Lynch did not appear fazed by any of this when he took the field in Week 1 against the Packers.
Marshawn Lynch goes off to start the fantasy season
So much for the discussion of him losing snaps to backups. Marshawn Lynch was firmly in control of the Seahawks backfield in Week 1.

Lynch rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. He also added a reception for 14 yards. It was just another day at the office for Beast Mode.
Fantasy impact: Hopefully you didn’t let Lynch slide too far in your draft. The Packers allowed 20.6 points per game to opposing running backs last season. Lynch surpassed that mark single-handedly on Thursday night.
Christine Michael did not see a single carry. Robert Turbin rushed six times for 27 yards, while Percy Harvin took four carries of his own. Clearly the Seahawks are not backing off of using Lynch like a featured back. He ran with confidence just like always. You should be starting him in every league, if that wasn’t obvious already.
