Fantasy Impact: Any chance of the Cowboys making it to the postseason this year will rest on the offense and their ability to put up big points with the defense expected to be historically bad yet again. This is music for fantasy owners’ ears and all of the offensive pieces are in place for Dallas to do just that.
Romo will be protected by one of the league's best offensive lines and has stud wide receiver Dez Bryant at his disposal, in addition to reliable veteran tight end Jason Witten. He also has a couple intriguing second-year players in receiver Terrance Williams and tight end Gavin Escobar. With no shortage of weapons, there appears to be nothing preventing them from becoming a top-five offense.
Dallas will take on a San Francisco defense that is missing a significant amount of it's play-makers in the front seven, most notably Aldon Smith, NaVorro Bowman and Glenn Dorsey. Romo is a solid QB1 option this week.
