Roddy White caught five passes for 72 yards and a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints in Week 1. He was targeted seven times by Matt Ryan, finishing tied for second among the Atlanta Falcons receivers.
Roddy White scores in first fantasy outing of 2014
Roddy White is off to a great start in 2014 after scoring a touchdown in his first game of the season.

White struggled for most of 2013 while dealing with multiple injuries, but it’s clear he’s still a top receiving option in the Falcons’ pass-heavy offense. White appeared shaken up after a 39-yard catch at the end of the first half. He was back out to start the second half, though, so there doesn’t appear to be anything to worry about.
Fantasy impact: White's touchdown reception came in single coverage right at the goal line, and he got the best of Keenan Lewis on a quick strike from Ryan. Julio Jones seems to be the favorite target in the passing game, but White is still a close second.
The Saints held White to two catches in the second half, and he was only targeted one time in the fourth quarter. Still, he’s a great WR2 in any lineup. Start him every week.
