DeMarco Murray rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1. He also added three receptions for 25 yards on four carries.
DeMarco Murray goes off in fantasy to start 2014
The Cowboys had a rough Week 1, but Murray was one of the lone bright spots from Dallas.

The Dallas Cowboys were trailing the 49ers within a minute of the opening kickoff, but despite playing from behind, Dallas stuck to its game plan and kept Murray involved on the ground. He was the only running back on the team to record a carry.
Fantasy impact: It’s a good sign to see the Cowboys not abandon the run just because they were trailing early. Murray was effective on the ground, averaging 5.4 yards per carry.
With offensive coordinator Scott Linehan's reputation, some expected Lance Dunbar to eat into Murray's workload. Dunbar caught three passes on as many targets, and he didn't run the ball once. It's safe to say Murray is a workhorse for the Cowboys. He'll be an RB1 every week.
