Tony Romo had a tough outing to start the 2014 season against the San Francisco 49ers. He completed 23 of 37 passes for 281 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in Week 1.
Tony Romo struggles to score fantasy points in Week 1
Romo gets a bad reputation at times for his tendencies to turn the ball over. Week 1 didn’t help his cause.

DeMarco Murray lost a fumble that led to a 49ers touchdown within a minute of the opening kickoff, putting the Dallas Cowboys in an early hole. Romo couldn't manage to get Dallas back in the game, throwing several picks early on.
Fantasy impact: This is the reason some fans will constantly ridicule Romo. He never found a rhythm against a defense analysts predicted to fall off a bit this season. The 49ers sacked Romo three times and managed hit him another four.
Dez Bryant also had a rough afternoon after taking one major hit in midair and dealing with dehydration in the second half. His absence for part of the way didn't make it easier on Romo. We'll hope for better numbers between the duo next week at Tennessee.
