Demaryius Thomas started the season with a rather disappointing performance against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football. The Denver Broncos' No. 1 receiver caught four passes for 48 yards on a team-high 11 targets in Week 1.
Demaryius Thomas stays quiet in fantasy to open 2014
The Broncos’ leading receiver from last season didn’t get many chances to stand out on in prime time on Sunday Night Football.

It was a bit of a rough night for the star receiver, who was guilty of several dropped passes. Thomas and Manning didn’t seem to be on the same page as they were in 2013. Thomas only had one game last year with fewer fantasy points than this performance.
Fantasy impact: Some owners are likely panicking at the sight of Thomas’ stat line for Week 1. Those are exactly the people you want to get in touch with over the next week. If there was ever an opportunity to buy low on Thomas, this is it.
Next week the Broncos face the Kansas City Chiefs, a team that Thomas put up 100-plus yards on twice last season. He'll bounce back in Week 2. Remain confident.
