Atlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman is running again but was unable to practice on Thursday, according to beat writer Vaughn McClure. Coleman has 29 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown in two games this season.
Tevin Coleman’s condition improving, still needs time before returning for fantasy owners
Atlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman did not practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Teammate Devonta Freeman scored three touchdowns for the Falcons last week against the Dallas Cowboys and had himself quite the day. He’s perhaps one more awesome week away from stealing touches from Coleman.
Maybe that’s what’s motivating Coleman to start running again. Of course there’s a lot more to it than that in terms of analyzing the Falcons’ backfield. Coleman still has greater upside in the eyes of many and he’s shown that he can be explosive at times.
The two backs are likely still stuck in a time-share for a while even if they occasionally put together a big game and score a bunch of touchdowns. For now, fantasy owners have to keep in mind that they’re still going to have to wait for Coleman to come back. It may still be a while before he does.
