Charles Johnson misses practices on Thursday, fantasy value low even if he plays
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Charles Johnson did not practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Johnson isn’t sure if he will be able to play against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, but given his recent performances this season, odds are most fantasy owners aren’t exactly chomping at the bit to get him in the starting lineup.
It’s really unfortunate that he hasn’t produced, given that Johnson was pegged as one of those players who was on the verge of breaking out this season. He has all the athletic ability in the world but, for whatever reason, things just aren’t clicking.
With fantasy owners most likely investing in players like Adrian Peterson, Kyle Rudolph, Mike Wallace and Teddy Bridgewater on the Vikings roster, Johnson can be dropped in most leagues at this point. In total honesty, Peterson is really the only Viking worth starting week to week.
