The Oakland Raiders may actually have an offense. They have spent a lot of high draft picks at their skill positions, but one of them wasn't running back Latavius Murray. They used the 181st pick in the draft in 2013 and it's looking like a steal.
Fantasy football start/sit: Latavius Murray set to be fantasy bell cow
Latavius Murray looks great with more good stuff on the way. We break down the fantasy implications.
Murray is coming off a tremendous game last week, rushing for 139 yards with one touchdown on 26 carries. He’s clearly separated himself as the go-to back in what’s shaping up to be a productive offense.
Murray gets a so-so matchup against the Chicago Bears this week. The Bears have done a decent job against the run, but their passing game is a nightmare and having quarterback Jimmy Clausen suggests the Raiders may be playing with a lead late -- is that for real?
Fantasy impact: If the Raiders continue to be even mediocre, Murray is going to be a solid RB2. He might be a RB10-15 this week and has to be starting.
