Cleveland Browns receiver Travis Benjamin will play against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. He had a rib injury this week from the Week 3 loss, but he was a full participant in practice all week.
Travis Benjamin injury update: Fantasy owners want to cool it again
Travis Benjamin is good to go. We break down the fantasy implications.
He was one of the best fantasy receivers in the first two weeks, and he still put up a decent line in Week 3. Benjamin had 10 targets against the Oakland Raiders, catching four of them for 45 yards and a score. Even while he was breaking out, Benjamin was playing less than 50 percent of snaps, but he's trending up now.
Not having quarterback Johnny Manziel is a negative for him, though. Manziel likes to get the ball down the field while Josh McCown is more safe, which may explain why the low yardage total.
Fantasy impact: It’s not a terrific matchup for him. The Chargers DBs are smaller, but they can cover the deep ball against the less physical receivers. He should be on benches.
