Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is most likely going to start against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10, according to beat writer Mary Kay Cabot. Manziel completed just 15 of 33 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown in last week’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Johnny Manziel likely starter this week, fantasy value low regardless
Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is most likely going to be under center this Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: The news here is more about the fact that fantasy owners won’t be able to start Josh McCown against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week rather than the fact that Johnny Football will be leading the charge. McCown still isn’t over the rib injury that kept him out of last week’s contest.
That said, coach Mike Pettine made it clear that if McCown can go, he will. He’s quietly put up 11 touchdowns compared to just four interceptions this year. Manziel on the other hand has thrown four touchdowns and one interception this year, albeit in limited action.
Fantasy owners of McCown can’t be too happy with the news that he’s looking iffy. For now it might be best to invest in someone that has a higher ceiling than Manziel, such as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Blake Bortles. Cleveland hasn’t exactly been a hot bed for quarterbacks over the last decade or so.
