Fantasy football advice, Week 10: Who to start/sit for Browns vs. Steelers

Two teams likely featuring backup quarterbacks face off in an AFC North battle Sunday. Despite a series of injuries, the Pittsburgh Steelers are 5-4 and in the driver's seat for a possible Wild Card berth. The Cleveland Browns, meanwhile, are 2-7, tied for the second-worst record in all of the NFL. They face off Sunday afternoon.

The Browns should get wide receivers Andrew Hawkins and Brian Hartline back from injury Sunday. The team's quarterback situation is more complicated; both Josh McCown and Johnny Manziel are on the team's injury report, and while there was a report Friday that Manziel would likely start, McCown has not yet been ruled out. For the Steelers, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is almost certainly out after a Week 9 foot injury. Running back DeAngelo Williams was dealing with a foot injury during the week as well, but he's expected to be 100 percent for Sunday.

Start ‘em?: It's been an incredibly run for Gary Barnidge, though he produces less well with Johnny Manziel at quarterback, so he might not be a great option this week.

Sit ‘em: At this point, the quarterback situation in Cleveland is so murky that you are better off just avoiding Josh McCown and Johnny Manziel altogether. ... Isaiah Crowell is the Cleveland ball-carrier; Duke Johnson Jr. is the pass-catching running back. Neither has reached double-digit fantasy points in a month. ... Travis Benjamin has put up exactly two fantasy points a game for three weeks now. ... Travis Coons hasn't done much in a while now. ... The Browns' defense struggles mightily against the run, and Pittsburgh does that well.

Start ‘em: Considering the opponent, DeAngelo Williams might be the single best fantasy option in Week 10. ... Antonio Brown did fine the last time the last time Landry Jones starter. The best guy tends to still get fed.

Start ‘em?: Since taking over for Josh Scobee, Chris Boswell has averaged 11.2 fantasy points a game. ... The Steelers' defense isn't great, but it's not terrible, and if Manziel starts, there's a chance for some numbers there.

Sit ‘em: With Ben Roethlisberger out, the Steelers will again turn to Landry Jones, who has very little upside. ... With Jones at quarterback, Martavis Bryant has a very limited upside. ... Heath Miller doesn't offer upside with the backup quarterback.
