Fantasy football advice, Week 10: Who to start/sit for Vikings vs. Raiders

The Minnesota Vikings and Oakland Raiders have been outside the conversation regarding real contenders for several years now. This year, though, you can't discuss contenders without including them. The Vikings are 6-2, tied for first in the NFC North, while the Raiders are 4-4 and threatening to contend for an AFC Wild Card. Sunday, they play one another.

Minnesota quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been dealing with a concussion all week, but it looks like he'll be fine for Sunday's game. On the Oakland side, running back Latavius Murray, wide receiver Amari Cooper and tight end Clive Walford are all on the injury report, though all three are expected to be fine for Sunday.

Start ‘em: With so many big names falling by the wayside, Adrian Peterson has stayed healthy and productive. ... Stefon Diggs saw his numbers dip in Week 9, but overall, he's been a monster since coming onto the scene. ... Blair Walsh has had great numbers all year.

Start ‘em?: The Raiders have improved their yardage numbers against opposing tight ends, but the position is still scoring touchdowns. Kyle Rudolph is a decent streaming option this week. ... The Vikings' defense is above average, but so is the Oakland offense.

Sit ‘em: In a nice matchup, and having cleared his concussion, you'd like Teddy Bridgewater, but he just hasn't offered much in the way of upside this year. Look elsewhere. ... Mike Wallace had 14 fantasy points in Week 4, and five points total since.

Start ‘em: In eight games this season, Derek Carr has had 20-plus fantasy points five times. Of course, in his others, he's averaged only eight points. He's been great, though he has a risky downside. Still, he's a top-10 play. ... Latavius Murray appears to be past his concussion, meaning he's an easy RB2. ... Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree have been a great 1-2 punch.

Start ‘em?: In a pinch, Sebastian Janikowski has been strong most of the year.

Sit ‘em: If Murray had been scratched, maybe Marcel Reece or Taiwan Jones would have had a shot, but with Murray active the others are just backups. ... Clive Walford is a better fantasy option than Mychal Rivera at this point, but neither is a great one. ... The Raiders' defense isn't anything special.
