Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was initially believed to return to practice on Wednesday, but that will be delayed, according to NFL Network's Rand Getlin.
Tony Romo needs full 8 weeks to recover, per report, fantasy owners continue to wait
The Cowboys’ injured signal caller won’t begin practicing despite being eligible to. We break down the fantasy implications.

Getlin reports that Romo will need the full eight weeks of recovery time before practicing, which would put Romo’s timeline to return to the practice field at the week of Nov. 16.
Romo isn't eligible to play until Week 11's matchup with the Miami Dolphins, and though there isn't evidence to suggest he won't return then, there isn't enough encouraging information to suggest he is a lock to do so either.
The Cowboys are 0-5 since Romo fractured his collarbone in Week 2.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners didn't need another reason to miss Romo, but Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks was crushing to watch from a fantasy perspective.
In 2014, Romo threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns against the Legion of Boom on the road, while Matt Cassel managed 97 yards on 25 pass attempts at home on Sunday.
For Romo’s fantasy owners, as well as Dez Bryant’s and Jason Witten’s, his return cannot come soon enough.
