Fantasy football advice, Week 11: Who to start/sit for Colts vs. Falcons

Pop quiz: Are the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons happy with the track of their seasons? Both teams are in line for playoff slots, though the Colts are 4-5 and the Falcons have lost three of four since starting 5-0. They both control their own destiny and would make the playoffs by winning out, but things aren't going perfectly. They play each other Sunday looking to get more onto the definite good side of things.

The Colts will be without quarterback Andrew Luck and have been planning as such for two weeks now. For the Falcons, wide receiver Leonard Hankerson is expected to return to action after missing a pair of games.

Start ‘em: There's little chance Frank Gore has any of those real monster games in him anymore, but since Week 2, he's averaged 11.4 fantasy points a game. That's still worth a start. ... Adam Vinatieri has double-digit fantasy points in four of his last six.

Start ‘em?: In the two games Matt Hasselbeck started earlier this year, he had 15 and 16 fantasy points. There's still a lot of weapons surrounding him, too. He's very risky, but should do enough to put up a handful of points. ... T.Y. Hilton is probably the Indianapolis receiver you want, though Donte Moncrief is in the conversation as well. ... Hasselbeck at quarterback should theoretically bode well for Coby Fleener at tight end.

Sit ‘em: Regardless of his good showing last time Hasselbeck was at the helm, Andre Johnson doesn't look likely to be reliable going forward. ... Maybe Dwayne Allen and not Fleener sees the tight-end bump, but he's just done nothing all year, so it's hard to count on. ... The Colts' defense is one of two units in the league that doesn't have a double-digit fantasy day all season (San Diego is the other).

Start ‘em: You like Matt Ryan more at home than on the road, and the Colts don't pose much of a worry opposite the ball. ... Devonta Freeman has been the best running back in the game all season. ... Julio Jones will draw Vontae Davis, but he's still Julio Jones.

Start ‘em?: The good games for Jacob Tamme basically coincided with the absence of Leonard Hankerson. Now that the wide receiver is back, Tamme could lose some targets, though at a weak position he's still a question. ... Matt Bryant has finally gotten back on track a little the last couple games, but it's been a season of struggles. ... The Falcons' defense has been above-average this season, and it's not like Matt Hasselbeck is some big defense-scarer.

Sit ‘em: Between the shoddy production of Roddy White and the injury concerns of Leonard Hankerson, it's tough to trust a non-Jones Falcons receiver.
