Fantasy football advice, Week 11: Who to start/sit for Bengals vs. Cardinals on Sunday night

Can Cincinnati bounce back from a miserable Week 10?

Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

A week ago, a Week 11 game featuring the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals looked like a tasty-enough matchup to flex to the Sunday night feature game. Of course, that was before the Bengals fell apart in their Week 10 prime-time game. Still, it's an 8-1 first-place team against a 7-2 first-place team, and you can't ask for much more than that.

The Bengals continue to be one of the league's healthiest teams, with no fantasy contributors on the injury report. The Cardinals are in the same situation — if you ignore wide receiver, with Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd and John Brown all on the injury report. Fitzgerald should be fine for Sunday, though Floyd and Brown are both much more questionable as they deal with their injuries.

The Cardinals host Cincinnati Sunday, with the game scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET. Let’s take a look at the fantasy names to consider:

BENGALS

Start ‘em: Even after two single-digit fantasy games in his last three, Andy Dalton has enough skill and weapons to be a starting fantasy quarterback, though a low-end one. ... It has to have been frustrating owning A.J. Green in fantasy of late, but he's still A.J. Green. This is one of those situations where as long as he's on the field you have to use him. ... Tyler Eifert has as much upside as any tight end, though his lows can get frustrating. ... Mike Nugent has at least seven fantasy points in five straight games. ... The Bengals' defense is right on the edge of must-start territory this week, with a dicey matchup against Arizona.

Start ‘em?: Gun to your head, do you really feel confident about either Giovani Bernard or Jeremy Hill in fantasy? If I'm picking one, it's Bernard, but both look like risk/reward flex plays. ... With Green likely drawing Patrick Peterson in coverage, Marvin Jones could be a sneaky-interesting play this week.

Sit ‘em: I wonder if Mohamed Sanu looks at his 2014 statlines wistfully.

CARDINALS

Start ‘em: Who would have thought in the preseason that Carson Palmer would enter Week 11 with the fourth-most fantasy points among quarterbacks? It's been a great comeback year. ... Against a defense like Seattle's Chris Johnson still put up five fantasy points last week. Cincinnati's defense is good, too, but Johnson is still the No. 1. ... As the only receiver in the lineup we can feel reasonably sure is healthy, Larry Fitzgerald is a must-start. ... Chandler Catanzaro has at least six fantasy points in every game this year. ... The Cardinals' defense is good-not-great, but sometimes that's all you need out of a defense, especially if Dalton and the Bengals' offense struggles again.

Start ‘em?: Behind Fitzgerald, the team's wide-receiver situation is a mess. Both Michael Floyd and John Brown are good when healthy, but might be out or at less than 100 percent. And if both are out, Jaron Brown becomes a sneaky under-the-radar play as well.

Sit ‘em: It was a great game for Andre Ellington last week, with 61 yards and a score on five carries, but five carries won't get it done more often than it will. ... Now that Ellington is healthy, David Johnson doesn't have a big role in the offense. ... Darren Fells doesn't have much upside at tight end.

SUMMARY

Start in every league: Andy Dalton, A.J. Green, Tyler Eifert, Mike Nugent, Cincinnati defense, Carson Palmer, Chris Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Chandler Catanzaro, Arizona defense
Start if you're desperate: Giovani Bernard, Jeremy Hill, Marvin Jones, Michael Floyd, John Brown, Jaron Brown
Bench: Mohamed Sanu, Andre Ellington, David Johnson, Darren Fells
